FAQs

Can I still join if I can’t make any of the lives?

YES. In fact, about half of participants usually do replays only and still come back every month, feeling the power isn’t diminished in the least. You are welcome to show up when/where you can and can submit questions & shares via email at any point.

I have a history of trauma, will this trigger me?

While this work does inherently support us in getting in touch with unresolved emotions, sensations and memories that may be connected to traumatic events, the style of breathwork we practice in this container is contraindication-free: as long as you are following the guidance/instruction in this container, nothing will come up that the body and psyche are not safe enough and ready enough to experience. While Meredith (obviously) cannot take the place of your doctor, psychologist or other certified professionals, she has been trained vigorously over many years in accordance with the highest standards in international breathwork professional practice (among other trauma-aware modalities) to hold safe space for this process. It is highly recommended if you have a history of trauma or any other mental diagnosis to set yourself up for success by supplementing this container with appropriate professional support.

Is this the same as Wim Hof or Holotropic breathwork?

Not remotely. In fact, this style of breathwork (based on Breathwork Mastery RBM) is hugely different from most mainstream modalities in that it works through parasympathetic nervous system activation vs. sympathetic nervous system activation. In layman’s terms, our style activates rest & digest mode and then allows for a natural unwinding and integration of stored stress in a safe, held space as opposed to activating the fight or flight circuit in the body and pushing blocks up to the surface via force. While we love Wim Hof and see great value in other dynamic styles of breathwork, we find this approach to be vastly more supportive (and safe) for people dealing with deep survival states, chronic illness, severe anxiety/depression/ptsd or other ‘disorders’ of this kind. In addition to it’s inherent safety, our practices have been carefully formatted for extra safety in the online practice setting.

Is it still worth it if I don’t end up doing the practice every day?

YES. Don’t let the perfect get in the way of the good! This practice is designed for cumulative effect—a bucket of water thrown on a stone does nothing, but a drop every day will wear the stone away over time. Any amount of unwinding is better than no unwinding, in our opinion. We have had participants share huge wins with far less than perfect attendance.
